Probably the most common fault on all laptops is the gradual failure of the power pin or "DC Socket" where the external power adapter wire connects to the laptop. It tends to manifest itself as a slightly loose connection that can often be made to work by wiggling the cable around. Eventually the machine will refuse to boot at all a replacement of the DC Socket is needed.
Replacement of the DC Socket.
Replacement involves stripping the laptop to component level (which enables a thorough cleaning of the internals), removal of the old socket and soldering a new pin in place. Once the machine is reassembled it is thoroughly tested before it is returned to the customer.
We use only genuine replacement parts and guarantee our work for 3 months.
