
Dead Laptop? - Try This First..
If you're laptop refuses to start then try removing the battery, unplugging from the mains and holding the power button down for about 30 seconds. Reconnect the power and see if it starts. If it does then all well and good. Then shut it down again and reconnect the battery. If it refuses to start then the battery is faulty and should be replaced. If it starts then there was a build up of static and everything should be fine.. However, if the machine has shown no sign of life and the DC socket & power adapter have been ruled out then it's probably a systemboard issue and that's something we can help with so read on..,,
